It's lovely and green loads room as you can see from my photos loads of bird life since they planted all the native trees. Not affected by flooding, gearing up for a ripper season.
We were here three months and have to say THE BEST park we have EVER been to. Bill and Joan, the owners make you feel very welcome. The amenities are spotless thanks to Geoff and Lesley and the managers Kate and Col do an excellent job. Happy hour was good you get to meet all types and get some valuable information while travelling. Would recommend this place to everyone over 50 who are travelling to North Queensland. Ken and Wendy
Best van park showers I have ever been in, very generous size shower cubicles, you can get out and dry your feet without standing on a wet floor.
Reverse cycle hot water system, copious hot water, very comprehensive camp kitchen and dining area, perhaps again the best ive seen.
Only complaint is the grounds not a lot of grass, weeds mostly.
We are staying here at this amazing park, Kate and Col are very welcoming hosts their staff are also lovely. Great Happy Hours, huge sites, spotless amenities, Wednesday dinners with staff cooking yummy food at only $7. Thanku Kate and Col and Staff Dennis and Maryanne Andison Xx
We stayed here four nights from the 16th, this is our 3 rd stay here but the first in the peak season. Still one of the best parks around, great hosts and caretakers don't listen to negative comments. From our experience it's only troublemakers that make the negative comments. Thanks Bill and Joan. We will be back.
Very nice park and Wednesday dinner was great value at $ 7 happy hour bell 4.30 , can have dogs in very special areas.
Well for someone who is not a big caravan park fan, this place is just great. Thank you Kate and Col.
We can accomodate any length vehicle combination on a drive through site. We can even offer sites away from the main park area. All sites have water and RCD protected power. Amenities are centrally located along with DUMP POINT.
The park is security Fenced to keep out unwanted sightseers. Your assets are safe and sound inside our Park, so you can sleep well at night. Our Bush setting is away from Highway and Train noise, and you can enjoy the stars at night.
We feature a Large Fenced Paddock exclusive for pet owners and their family members, with shaded seating.
Doggy happy hours, at 4-30 daily in season with other 4 legged family members.
People rave about our showers, they say they are the best on the Big Lap. High pressure and tons of hot water, hanging space and dry-off area with seat means you can dress in comfort, with dry feet.
We regularly serve up to 100 meals on a Wednesday night in season. There are 3 Elec. Ovens, Gas cooktop, Gas Wok burner, Gas Ring, 2 x BBQ gas cookers and a Wood Fired Pizza Oven - All free to use.
There are 6 Speed Queen Washers and 2 dryers, plus tons of sunny line space outside.
Book exchange is one for one and there is Tourist Info on all the Tourist Spots around Townsville,
