OPENING TIMESGeneral Rodeo Hours.
- The competitors gate opens at 10am.
- The public gates open at 11:30.
The Rodeo commences at 1:00pm and runs through until 6:00pm with junior and novice events through out the afternoon.
- Dinner break from 6:00pm to 7:00pm
- Main Performances generally begin at 7 in the evening.
FOOD and BEVERAGES
Our now famous Kitchen opens at midday and serves up all your home made favourites until 10 pm. Eskies are allowed in with your own food and softdrinks.
By Law no alcohol may be brought onto these grounds. We are a licensed facility and the Bar is open from 12 noon to 1 am at each Event. In our endeavour to keep the grounds safe, Security will check all eskies at entry.
FREE BREATHALIZER TEST
In the interest of road safety the Black River Stadium provides a free Breathalyser test for all of our patrons. We urge those of you who have been consuming alcohol to check your levels before driving on the public roads.

AFTER THE RODEO
There are ample Public Conveyances around the grounds as well as free camping and hot showers. So don’t drink and drive. Bring your swag and rock on with all the Cowboys and Cowgirls at the Disco after the Show and sleep over. (Security Guards Patrol until 6am)
