Due to some Cowboys un acceptable behaviour at previous events Police

and Liquor Licensing Officers have stipulated New Rules.

Security have requested all Rider Parking inside the Grounds to the

right as you enter the Stock Gate. This means if you are not Carrying Stock

or you are not a Worker then you do not proceed past this point (look for signs)

All others who have Horses or Stock Trucks proceed as normal.

Workers enter as normal, this new area is an attempt to control bad behaviour

by some riders who smuggle alcohol in and want to party all night long.

All the new restrictions on Alcohol policing have been introduced by Police and

Liqour Licensing Officers as a direct result of these few Cowboys behaving badly.

Security will Patrol and any un ruly behaviour will be asked to leave the grounds

Refusal to leave constitutes an offence and Police may become involved.

Image below shows new parking / camping area for All Riders without Stock on.

Due to tougher Licensing Laws

All patrons entering the 18 + Licensed Area

will have to wear a wrist band.

Persons over 18 will be issued a Red band

This is so Security and Licensing Branch Officers can ID

any underage persons consuming alcohol.

Any person under 18 years found with Alcohol will be escorted from the

Licensed Area along with their Responsible Adult companion.

No Alcohol will be allowed inside the Rodeo Grounds in 2010

Any and all Alcohol must be consumed in the Licensed Area

The Licensed Area is on the Hill at the bar, any competitor found

consuming alcohol on the grounds outside the Licensed Area

will not be permitted to park inside the grounds at any future event.

No electric fences allowed in the Caravan Park area please.

There are small children in the caravan park!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ample room in the next paddock for fences etc no problems

Free power is provided in the next paddock

Power sites in Caravan Park area $5 per float per night, rodeo night only

$25 per night for powered sites after the rodeo

Paddock stays by request

No entry on Friday night to the grounds unless

you are carrying stock or have your own horses on board.

No camping in the Caravan Park area on Friday night

Limited parking in Caravan Area Saturday night only

provided your horses are tied up to the Float (no fences)

There is no restriction to using available yards for your horses

provided they are not required for Rodeo Stock.

Any person not complying with rules will have to park

outside the grounds and no future nominations will be

accepted by the Committee for that person.

We use Proactive Security Townsville and I encourage

all Members to advise Adrian if you see any un lawfull behavior

Adrian's mob is 0407 832 502 ( key it in your phone )

This bad behaviour by some is ruining it for most, so if you want

the sport of rodeo to keep going then please play your part.
